Review summary

Really enjoyed ocean cay. It was a nice relaxing 2 days. Was expecting a spectacular light but was disappointed. Fireworks would have helped. Also first day was at south beach and when in the water something was stinging me. Second day went to beach by ship and nothing stung me.

Originally given 1:30 but text that it was changed to 12:30. Spent about 1.5 hours checking in which is wY to long.

Food and Dining

Breakfast had everything I like. Food was good. Lunch was OK. It took a while to realize that I needed to walk all over to see everything that was avaliable. So first day I missed the eggplant parmagane one of my favorites. Ate in the black crab every night. We got the late sitting which was way to late for me. Seemed to take way too long to get through the meal. My wife did enjoy the gluten free options especially the deserts.

Onboard Activities

Didn't really do any activities except on the island. Rented a kayak which was way to heavy and seat gave me no back support. Wore me out paddling.

Enjoyed all of the shows. Lots of variety and entertainers were good.

Everyone was friendly and answered any questions I had. Server made my wife ordered gluten free every night.

Very clean. Liked that there were plenty of hot tubs.

Cabin / Stateroom

First time in an inside cabin. Seemed a bit small. It was clean and staff did a good job cleaning every day.

Ship tip

Expect long embarkation but getting of was smooth

Glad you enjoyed most of it. I agree that the lighthouse show on ocean cay is underwhelming, based on the hype & promotion.
