Dreadful / stressful / disorganised.
Worst cruise line we have been on by far.
Incontinence pads left in bins by previous residents.
Poor quality of food, repetitive, lack of hygiene at best 3 star rating
It is not worth pre-paying for any services as you get better treatment as a walk-in
We did get off at every port and generally they were good but in the main did not comment as we do not wish to improve the overall rating of MSC.
Embarkation

When we arrived at the port there was a sign saying the ship arrived late. After a girl at the front checked our paperwork she split us up to wait in line, for no apparent reason other than power. At the check-in desk we were asked for our ESTA, this is a document that is not required to be printed, fortunately we had printed our application. We should have been given a boarding group number, which we didn't get, and only discovered when we went to the Embarkation area. The whole process was a farce

to say the food in the main dining rooms was not the best would be a compliment, it was served cold and sometimes burnt. One night we waited 1hour 40mins and had only had our starters. We didn't book a specialty restaurant, with the view that if they can't get the basics right why pay more. The buffet was generally slightly better although regularly we had to clear our own tables as staff stood talking. One day we spotter green mould on some cheese.
Onboard Activities

We found the activities on board, repetitive and boring.
An awful lot was directed for an Italian audience.
Entertainment

A serious lack of entertainment. The show in the theatre was the same performers, but with different music every night.
Individually the theatre performers were talented but the shows lacked direction and choreography.
Some of the other entertainment wasn't bad, but not enough choice

We had a feeling of not a happy ship, the staff didn't welcome everyone with a warm welcome. On boarding we went to our rooms only to find them not fully ready, and used Incontinence pads in the bathroom. When the steward came later in the day he complained about having 20 rooms to look after, isn't this what he's paid to do?
We pre paid for Laundry service intended to save some work when we arrived home, but it was dire.

Lovely looking ship. Mostly the common areas where clean, although the bathrooms needed more attention. But generally ok
Cabin / Stateroom

Plenty of draws, but limited hanging space. Bathroom ok, but make sure you take your own hair conditioner and body lotion as this was not supplied. The balcony was a little small.
Would have liked more TV channels without having to pay for them. On Princess Cruises you can watch films and live concerts for free in your room.
Booked an English speaking tour of the island, the driver played a tape in French, when we said we were all English he was surprised, but continued to play the tape and said the odd word in English. When we all complained more he stopped speaking altogether. This is an English speaking Island
We Suppose To Be on the cruise Feb 21 but Didnt go After Reading Comments From previous guests Describing eaxtlacly same Experience As you have .We lost Some money but I dont feel bad after Reading this .
