Review summary

We had a great time on the cruise. The one negative was when my daughter, who purchased the photo package with 100 photos, found a misplaced photo and asked to exchange it for one that she had in her package and was told...NO!! I couldn't believe it. I forgot the name of the belligerent jerk that gave her a hard time! I would have given the total experience on the cruise 5 stars if it weren't for that incident.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We had the Aurea package with a dedicated area for embarkation. Overall it went smoothly. The only "hiccup" was that the agent that printed my cruise card didn't enter any codes that was needed to take advantage of the Aurea benefits. I had to go to customer service and they did correct it.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Our group was 100% satisfied with the Main Dining room we ate in (Black Crab) and the buffet. The service and food in the Black Crab was very good.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The Balinese massage was great...the Divina has a very nice fitness center. We enjoyed the main outdoor pool as well as the pool in the solarium which the young grand kids loved.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We went to the stage show every night and were pleased with the quality and professionalism of the entertainers. Highly recommend the shows.

Children's Programs

The kids did not take advantage of the children's program.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We had the same terrific wait staff every night for dinner. Stephan and his wait staff went out of their way to accommodate 12 of us every night.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful ship that is very well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was clean, a bit smaller than we expected, but comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony. The only downside was that the cabin was across the hall from the crew passage way and on the last night we heard the crew gathering and loading the passengers luggage from our room.

Ship tip

If your budget allows, go for the Aurea package. Includes the specialty coffees, gelato, massages, unlimited alcoholic bevrages, priority boarding and, anytime dining.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida Did not visit port

Time did not allow.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
Love St Maarten and we do vacation here every year. We rented a van at the cruise terminal and went parasailing at Orient Beach. We then circled the island and finished up by doing some shopping on Front St in Phillipsburg.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

4 out of 5
No excursion..walked and explored on our own. Old San Juan is beautiful and has a lot of history.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
We did the Balmoral Beach Day excursion. The private island and accommodations there were great.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth.

Thanks for sharing. It’s always nice to talk to the cruise director because if he cool, he will probably intervene with some issues. It’s not rude to ask for the supervisor if whoever you dealing with is unfair or slacking.
