Review summary

It was a good experience with MSC DIVINA. First time with MSC. The 3 complaints: Food not good!!! Pools are too deep. Not drinks allowed on pools. I will go again on MSC.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
The embarkation was very slow. You need to be there extremely early if you don't want to be standing on line for hours.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
The food at the restaurant Black Crab was not good. I have to say, it was impossible to eat it. We went 4 nights from 7 because we preferred the buffet. Jeyen was very nice. He offered a very good service. The quality of the food was not his fault.

Onboard Activities

Boring.

Entertainment

The white, floral, Italian nights plus the gala nights were very nice.

Food was hit or miss. Some things excellent some not eaten. Same for service. Specialty restaurants definitely worth the extra price. Get a dining package. Hardly anyone there but delicious. We still think NCL is best but glad we tried msc.

I think that some of these complaints are not very well thought. No offense but to say the pool is too deep, is like saying the ocean is too big. I'm hoping that they don't allow drinks in the pool only because it's scary if someone drops their drink and why would you want to take your drink in the pool in a place where it's super crowded..not very smart. Lastly food not being good..well that's always upon someone's own discretion. Just my thoughts. Hope your next cruise exceeds your expectations

I'm so nervous now. we r going in Nov. first time with msc. usually cruise ncl in the haven. I'm super worried about food now hearing what u said. do u pay extra for specialty restaurants like u do on ncl??? how was ur room? also, do they serve drinks at the pools, I mean r there waiters bringing u drinks when laying in the sun? do they have reservations made online a head of time for restaurants or is it same time every meal? sorry I'm new to msc. tks
