Review summary

My favorite part of the cruise was relaxing with my husband.  The worst part of the cruise was the food. The ship was very difficult to move around from one level to another, front to back (dinning room to cabin).

Sorry to read that the food was not up to your expectations.

I've even found this true about MSC. I've now booked a Grand Suite on the Seaside for a better price then I could find a balcony room for on any other cruise line for my our tenth anniversary next year. MSC offers great deals along with kids still free.

It's very hard to find cruises without hidden fees but I've gone on both carnival and MSC and had a blast on both our family of 4 got a much better deal throughout the summer in MSC than in Carnival

hard time getting around the ship.. im guessing this is way more YOUR fault than it is the ships fault ..just saying

3000 plus people odds are someone is going to have a bad time or experience but I have always had a good time cruising

We had an amazing time on Divina and didn't have any problems getting around the ship. One star does seem harsh if the only bad thing was your poor taste in food. My family had a great time in the dining room every night with great meals being served every night. You need to remember that you are on an Italian cruise line that serves more Italian style meals rather then American meals.

Midship was sold out so we did the back after looking at the deck maps. Figured food was important to be close to.

I had the exact problem with Norwegian cruise around Hawaii as to why I only cruise Carnival now. They have grand chefs. No complaints after 7 Carnival cruises. I try to get a state room near midship. Never the front of the ship 🚢.

I enjoyed the food last year and will be enjoying it again in a week. I've heard more positive comments about how they strengthened the food quality but some have particularl tastes. the ship is laid out uniquely and completely different than most but it only takes a few trips around to get used to it. I think 1 star is a very harsh rating but you are entitled to your opinion. just hope others give them a chance.
