Review summary

We found that this cruise line did not provide the service and food quality that we have encountered on other cruise lines. A lot of services were not available unless you had bought more expensive packages.

Food was okay. Breakfast food could have been better with more variety. Did not like the buffet. Used the dining room and room service most of the trip. We bought the drink package, but found that a lot of items were not included in the package and were frequently reminded of this when we asked for specific drinks or food items.

Onboard Activities

Onboard activities were good. Except frequently we were reminded that tips were a source of income from the staff. We have not had this experience on other cruise lines. If someone provided exceptional service we always tipped them extra before we leave the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

Did not stay in this cabin. There was some kind of mixup and we stayed in a different cabin. The cabin we were given was in the back of the ship and we generally do no prefer to stay in that area because sometimes the engine noise is loud. Was okay except when going into the ports it was a little loud.

Ship tip

If you are trying to cruise on a budget do not use this cruise line.

I recommend the delicious pizza on the buffet....best of any cruise line. Entertainment in the main theater is very good. The only other entertainment is late night in the disco on deck 16. Ship is beautiful. Some trouble communicating with the crew. Food left much to be desired. You can look forward to a relaxing time at sea.

A great time. Say hi to Michael Jackson. He's excellent. So's the food. On sea fays, get your butt up early to mark your chairs. Tie with towels together. Bring large clips to hold towels on chairs. Enjoy!!!!!!

I was extremely disappointed in the MSC Divina. I gave been cruising since 1969 and it was not the worst, but it was definitely a disappointment.

What? The Divina ia a 10. The best cruise line ever been on. Thats bull. You need to give up cruising. Like the soup Nazi, no Soup for you!!!!!
