Review summary

FIRST OF ALL I THINK I WOULD NEVER BOOK ANOTHER CRUISE ON MSC MUCH TO LARGE TOO MANY PEOPLE & NOT ENOUGH STAFF UNDERSTANDING ENGLISH.  THE FOOD WAS MEDIOCRE AT BEST.  NOT ENOUGH BATHROOMS CLOSE ENOUGH TO FIND EASILY,  SOMEONE STOLE MY SWEATSHIRT HOODIE OFF THE BACK OF MY CHAIR WHILE I WAS IN THE BUFFET LINE..

One must not forget that everyone is not the same. Cant assume that since we have the tools available that all of us will use them or even can use them. It shouldn't matter how petty someone's concern may seem ----just as long as they communicated it well enough to be understood.

Diversity makes it more fun.  We Americans sometimes think our way is best.  I'd rather have diversity and see how others live and have fun.

I agree re research. More research would tell you more about the ship and help you decide if it is for you. MSC are an Italian company, so unlike English or American companies are more likely to have a diverse lingustical grouping - as in although on most all cruise ships the staff are of various nationalities, those working on English/US ships will most likely be required to have a better grasp of the English language than those on Italian ships.

I have been on this ship awhile back and loved the cruise.  Luckily I did not experience any of your concerns.  Each cruise is different and the crew does change all the time - even the chefs change.  I actually like the larger ships for the extra amenities that they offer.  Usually they offer excellent and elaborate entertainment.  MSC does have great entertainment Every single night.  By people are different, of course.  You would probably be happier on a smaller ship.  They get into all the small ports, too.   Happy cruising.  How sad that someone stole your hoodie!

I guess I don't understand why people complain about how big/small a ship is when they are able to research to see what the passenger/crew ratio is and how big the ship is.  With regards to the language barriers, I have found this to be on basically all cruise lines and I have been on 5 different cruise lines.  I know that the forum is to make ones comments about their experience, but a lot of what I have/am reading, is pretty petty, ijs.
