Review summary

We had a Jr. Suite which was quite spacious for a stateroom, however, we had problems opening several of the drawers in the main living quarter and the bathroom materials were of very cheap, dated, stained plastic. The toilet had a permanent ring inside it. Our room steward was very nice and helpful. We originally had the late seating for dinner and our waiters were wonderful. However; when we swiched to the earlier seating, we were put in a back room with two tables - segregated from the main dining area and while our new waiters were very nice, they'd forget to order drinks, bring the next course or did not understand what we were saying. It got to be comical. We switched back to the late seating after that.

Bought a tour off of the shuttle bus company rather than the one from the ship and saved 50%. The tour was fun - went to the Bufadora (The Blowhole) and ran the gaunlet through the vendors at the flea market., had a great lunch. Then were driven into downtown for the shops. An all day activity for $15 US.

San Diego, California

We took a tour of the USS Midway. This was by far our favorite event at port. Try not to miss this.
Don't Miss: The USS Midway tour.
