Review summary

I would go on this ship over and over again. Well done Royal Caribbean!

Embarkation

3 out of 5
The worst part of the trip was the embarkation process. We arrived at our scheduled time and stood in line for two hours before stepping foot on the ship. Granted there was an internet glitch so the port authorities had to wait around for it to start working again in order to admit passengers. Hopefully Royal Caribbean or the Port Canaveral people will learn from this experience and come up with a Plan B for instances such as this. I would hate to think if the outage was longer than a couple of hours.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate in the main dining room for dinner every night except for the one when we were in Bermuda. The service and food was second to none. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch in the Windjammer and were very impressed with the food, service, and handwashimg stations set up as you enter the dining area. Another favorite of ours was the pizza & coffee stand on deck 5.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed all of the included ship activities but did not pay for any extra activities. My teenagers went down the slide but chose not to participate in any of the other onboard activities. They were interested in laser tag but the available times didn’t line up with their schedule.

Entertainment

Children's Programs

My children are 17 and 19.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward and dining staff were absolutely amazing at their jobs. I could not commend them too much.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We loved everything about this ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our inside stateroom wasn’t huge but was a decent size and the layout of the bed, couch, and vanity made it very functional.

Ship tip

If you want to get a cabana bed in the solarium on deck 11, be prepared to get up VERY early. We were only able to get one in the day that I got up at 4:30 am to go out and secure us a spot for the day. Also, people are very bad about reserving beds and loungers with towels for family members that may not show up for three or more hours. This was witnessed first hand in the solarium.
