My advice is to make two the day o appointments, 2 hours apart for your rapid test. We did this and I've seen other cruisers make the same suggestion. Like I posted before, we are now spoiled with the level of service and lack of crowds. Keep an open mind and enjoy yourself before we're back to normal.
Embarkation

It was fast and efficient. Make sure you have all documents ready. Passports, vaccination cards, test results
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Dining room food was really good. Disappointed that they removed beef wellington just before our cruise. Tell the chef that, while it was good, what they call beef stroganoff, is not beef stroganoff. The waiter and assistant waiter were excellent and attentive
Onboard Activities

Did not do a lot of stuff but sit and watch the sea go by. Because the ship sailed at 40% capacity, it was like having your own personal staff. constant attention!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Wow! I've been cruising since 1977 and have been on over 50 cruises and have never experienced the level of service on this cruise. We're now officially spoiled! Everyone was very nice and was so happy to be sailing and working again. Gentle reminders to wear mask were designated, if you forgot your mask, they had one at the ready. From the ship crew to housekeeping to food service, excellent. Even in the windjammer, people would come to your table and offer to get anything you wanted
Ship Quality

Constant cleaning. Where our room was, 7366, we were close to everything.
Cabin / Stateroom

I found myself drinking early morning coffee on the deck watching the ocean go by or the activity in port. Room attendant was always keeping things organized and clean.
Ship tip
Make sure you read everything you need to cruise. Download the ship app ASAP! enter all info ASAP. Royal verifies your covid vaccination cards, so take the picture of front and back as early as possible. I'm not a list maker usually, but this time it really helped.
I've been going to little stirrup cay (coco cay) since the s.s. emerald seas sailed there in the 80's. I was there in 2016 when it was still an island with beach chairs and food and drink shacks only. At first, I was appalled at what I saw when we docked. They turned my secluded island into an amusement park. Well, we decided to go ashore and scope it out and was pleasantly surprised. First, if you want to walk down the pier to the island you can, or take to tram that takes you to a transfer station. Then, you can take to island tram and pick where you want to stop. Anytime you want to explore or move you can walk or ride. We found that south beach was our spot. Free beach lounge chairs with umbrellas sitting under palm trees. A food shack, bathrooms and bar just steps away. A sand shark got trapped on a sand bar and we watched the crew rescue the shark and release it back to the ocean with applause from all of us watching. For us, there wasn't any need to spend any additional money on the island. The included amities were enough. We were going to visit other venues, but got lazy just sitting and watching the ocean, sand under your feet and feeling the cool breezes. They made a convert out of us.
They picked up our luggage the night before, because the ship was at 40% capacity, we just walked off the ship. took us maybe 5 minutes. At customs, all they did was a facial recognition check and we grabbed our luggage and were on our way
