Review summary

We celebrated our 25th anniversary on this cruise and had a fantastic time! We had a spacious balcony view cabin. I was surprised as the amount of space there was. The shower had the best water pressure I have experienced in a cruise or hotel. Our steward, Susanna was awesome. Very attentive and friendly. We were even given complimentary chocolate covered strawberries when we departed The food was good. Nothing spectacular. We ate in the main dining room the first night and it was good. The crab cakes were my favorite. But found we enjoyed the buffet better The buffet offered many great choices and wasn’t crowded. A big plus! We ate ate Chops one night. The service was great but once again the food was not at my expectations. I ordered a filet which did not look like a filet Once again the steak in the buffet was better. The wait staff is impeccable! We loved walking the open decks of the ship. We never encountered crowds. We mostly just went to relax. We went to Nassau. Which smelled of urine. Dirty. Fortunately we booked an excursion to Blue Lagoon Island. Once again wasn’t crowded. We had a whole beach to ourselves. The water is very shallow and would be a great place for children We next went to Coco cay. This is a beautiful island. We rented a beach bed for the day. Our tram drove us straight to the location. No walking. We had our own bed with lunch service. It was perfect and cozy. I would highly recommend Mariner of the Seas and Coco Cay
