Mariner of the Seas

2 Night Bahamas (Miami Roundtrip)

Sail date: May 03, 2019

Ship: Mariner of the Seas

Cabin type: Inside

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Review summary

Unfortunately we had alot of bad kids on this boat. We also had alot of bad parents on this boat. Both nights I witnessed unsupervised children 6-8 years old walking around the boat at 1am. This is not good parenting and ruins the experience for us adults. This is also not safe.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
They must be amazing because everyone brings their kids here.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Very friendly

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Nice design. But very dirty from all the kids and their sticky nasty fingers. It feels like the entire ship was covered in maple syrup. Elevator buttons, door handles, guard railings, buffet utensils , literally everything ruined by kids.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Not bad.

Ship tip

Leave your kids at home. They ruin it for everyone else.

We raised two sons to e respectful. I hate parents who do not raise their children to be respectful of others.

I personally can't vstand parents who think it's appropriate to let their children run wild while cruising. I had 2 young teens trying to rip of my alcoholic drink until I yelled at him. No parents around and these 2 boys looked to be 13. Bad parenting for sure. We will cruise while the heathend are on school

You are a miserable person you live off of complaining.

I can see you dont like kids so just go on Vikings or virgin cruise line

Some cruise lines have adult only ships.... I would suggest looking into those for a more enjoyable trip.

Try Viking cruise line, or a cruise of 10 days or longer from a non-Florida or gulf coast port and you will have less children or no children.

2-3 day budget Nassau cruise. Not sure large number of kids would come as a surprise
