Review summary

Probably won’t do this boat again, even though it’s a really nice boat, simply because it was a miserable night’s sleep. Never had such an awful bed on any other ship I’ve cruise ....RCL, Carnival, Celebrity or Disney. Just terrible.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
It was great- other than we found out we’d be coming back to a different terminal than we took off from....so had to park far away. We o lot knew this from a friend who is a pinnacle member (guess they get special info). There needs to be more info on the app....like which terminal to go to, etc

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was much better than usual in the dining room. We did My Time- no waiting, much more pleasant. But the bars served some really bad drinks- especially The Schooner Bar. The Bolero bar was the best, just very crowded at night.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We were only there 2 nights, so didn’t get to do much. Casino was crowded and full of smoke. No non-smoking tables offered, and some of the grumpiest dealers I’ve ever met.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The music was better than usual.

Children's Programs

No kids with us.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Everyone (except the casino dealers and the bartenders at the Schooner Bar) was awesome.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Liked it a lot.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Size was good, it was clean and the temp was nice and cold. But the mattress was rock hard, so uncomfortable. Could not have stood another night. And there isn’t any outlet to let you plug your phone on next to the bed. And they don’t let you bring an extension cord.

Ship tip

Bring your own plastic or metal straw- they’ve started using those awful paper straws. Soggy yuk.

Ports of call

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Under construction. Had to render. And they closed the floating bar because too many people were there. Nothing to write home about.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Walked right off, no waiting.

You can bring a power strip or extension cord, as long as it does not have a surge protector.
