The cruise was good, but not great.

Sail Date: March 04, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

In the Windjammer the food was cold when it should have been hot, the deserts were not sweet, ever the few that were not sugar free.
The excursion we took in Jamica to see ther 1700 Plantation appeared to be a comeon to get us there and sell us a ride here and there (for more money of course.)

Pros: The Platters

Cons: All other entertainment except the Platters. Food in Windjammer

Recommends Mariner of the Seas? Yes!

Food and Dining
The food in the dineing room was very good, however the Buffett was not hot and the deserts were not sweet.
Entertainment
We enjoyed the Platters and everyone we spoke to said the same thing, however all the other entertainment was boreing.
Almost everyone on the cruise was obver 50 and we all said we would have watched the Platter every inght if it had been offered rather than the shows avaliable.
We tried several times to get in to see a movie and each time the theather was full. We were told we would have to get there an hour early to get a seat. So you can see we had only one night of entertainemnt avaliable.
