Mariner of the Seas

7 Night Mexican Riviera (Los Angeles Roundtrip)

Sail date: April 12, 2009

Ship: Mariner of the Seas

Cabin type: Oceanview

Traveled as: Large Group

Reviewed: 15 years ago

Review summary

The ship was clean and fairly well maintained. It was hard to find a place to just set and relax where you could look out over the ocean. There was only a couple places like that and they were always full of people. The food and all the personnel were just great.

Ship experiences

Some of the best food we have had on a cruise. Dining room personnel were great.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Been on prettier ships, to large for our liking, hard to get around on, very clean but needing some maintenance.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ports of call

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Pros: The food was great and the crew were the best

Cons: The only way to get fore and aft without going out on deck are on decks 4 and 5 so you are always going up and down.
