I went on 6 without it being checked for my niece and then the last one they did ask and I had to obtain it before I could board.

I did some research and it seems like they don’t check it 90% of the time. But for the 10% they do, I will get a notarized letter to take with me. There is a blank form to fill out on their website- if you can find it.
