No. By law the ship can not leave until everyone does the muster (safety) drill.

We took Celebrity 23 Dec last year and as we walked onto the ship the staff was showing people how to put in vest. Told where to go for life boat. If you were a frequent cruiser they asked if have any questions. Did Nit have a formal meeting. Told us it was on TV.
