Review summary

We were a group of 4 couples who have cruised together before. On first sight the MD2 looked out of place in Palma port next to the giant super cruises ships in the docks. Any, Oh dear me thoughts that I may have had dissapeared as soon as we got on board. The crew were super polite, super efficiant and it was so nice to see so many different nationalities represented. The whole trip was very relaxed, the food was 5 star and the drinks package was well worth the investment. I would not hesitate to book another cruise aboard the MD2

Dined with my wife and three other couples (friends) we were all sat at a table for eight for dinner and breakfast. The food was fantastic. Used the buffet area for lunch, again food was fantastic with a good variety. Top marks to for the staff, so friendly and from so many nations, great to see.

Onboard Activities

There was plenty to do, however, we mostly chilled and drank. lol

Mixed with the shows in the fantastic theatre complex. It was clear that the performers aways gave 100% but at times it didnt quite hit the mark

Ship Quality

The shipis quite old, the crew were always to be seen painting etc but when you moor the ship next to these new ultra modern vessels she looks small and a little tired. That said the crwe and atmosphere made up for all of that and I would cruise on her again without hesitation.

Cabin / Stateroom

We were looked after by Heri and what a cracking job he did of keeping our cabin spick and span. Great cabin, located by the lifts (no noise probs) Plenty of staotage and hanging space with coat hangers aplenty provided. Free safe for your travel documents,money etc.
