Review summary

This was our first time on a newer ship and the ship did not disappoint. Ship was clean well laid out and just beautiful. Service was ok to good but we were on vacation on a beautiful ship in the carribean how could you not have a good time!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy from arrival at Port to on getting on ship took about 30 to 40 min. Considering almost 7 thousand people are on the ship that was impressive to me.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Many many food options. The quick eat reasturants such as Shacks Chicken, Street Eats and buffet were very good. Main dining room a bit disappointing, felt rushed at times. Drinks were good to very good. Shout out to server Jose deck 8 aft he was fantastic.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Water slides looked impressive but nothing special. They seemed to not have enough water to keep you moving in parts of slide. Kids loved rope course and Bolt was awesome once it finally opened day 3 of the cruise. Cruise director Kendyl Fire was great. Lastly my family was selected to play Family Feud live which was so much fun.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Two of the 6 comedians we saw were really good, rest just so so. Tommy Drake was really funny. Stage shows were good but main theater show was repeated on our first and 4th night of the cruise.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
Teen kids enjoyed circle c but it's more of a come and go and play video games than actual activities. Was fine for their age.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Service was good not great. Room steward did keep our room clean and any requests we had were taken care of. Dining room staff was working hard but service often felt rushed and a bit disorganized.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was very well laid out. Very rarely did you feel like 6,500 other people were on the ship. Could always find a quiet place if you wanted to. Busiest spot was elevators which were very very small and slow.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We choose family harbor ocean view room. Room was same size as a standard balcony room without the balcony. Extra space really made a difference. Bathroom as on most cruises small but shower felt bigger than usual and a shower door instead of curtain made a big difference.

Ship tip

Deck 8 aft pool area was a great spot with a great view.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
Beautiful port seemed recently built or updated. Beach was about 20 min walk from the ship but it was an easy walk.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Entire group had passports which allowed for easy disembarkation
