Review summary

Overall we had an amazing vacation but differences were noticed cruising post covid.. We still had a great time and so did our kids!! Can't wait to be cruising again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and Easy.. love the picture for ease of embarkation and disembark

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was overall excellent... loved chibang.. only hiccup was the MDr on the 2nd formal Night, the wait was long and service slow. The MDR did not flow and it felt like there was a lot of new staff or lack of staff.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The kids loved the water park area however there is not enough seating for families.. we did find great seating near the pool.on summer landing and really enjoyed that area

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Comedians were great.. the other shows just so/so and the center stage area was poorly designed as you can't see the whole show and there is so much going on in that area its hard to hear/not be distracted

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The 2 yr old only went for an hr.but seemed to have a good time.. she didn't like we left her there and she refused to.go back but that had nothing to do with the staff

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Our room steward was amazing.. the service crowded or not at the bars were so slow.... it did not stop me lol staff was friendly and always welcoming with the kids

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Seems like a lot of corners were cut in trying to fit more people on the ship.. we had a nice time but prefer the class below.. also the ship was hot everywhere and the elevators were tiny... don't use the middle set and it's a lot faster and we did well even with 2 strollers

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was smaller than I remember other interiors being but we had 2 cabins connected for our family of 5 and it worked out great

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

1 out of 5

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

4 out of 5

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We all had passports and walked off the ship in minutes.. if you have a birth certificate I would recommend getting a passport that line was very long

Nothing is the same post pandemic, cruising is no different.

Appreciate your detailed feedback. The smaller cabins are what I find most distracting from this class of ship. Carnival once boasted of having the biggest cabins in the industry. Seems like a step backwards. Glad you and your family still enjoyed your cruise.
