Review summary

Mardi Gras was not what I expected. We did have a great time but the ship wasn't all that spectacular. Some of the employees need to be retrained in customer service skills.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was hit-and-miss. Steakhouse 555 and Teppanyaki Restaurants were excellent, the rest was meh.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Some of the shows didn't make any sense. Punchliner is always fun. Show up early for shows, they fill up quickly due to small rooms.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Personally didn't like the Mardi Gras design. Common areas are small, the ship is so big that areas like the shops, the center stage, and even the guest service area are not big enough for the volume of guests. The elevators are small too.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Good size for 2.

Ship tip

A piece of advice, be very patient. Employees will mess up your food and/or drink orders and they will take their sweet time serving you.
