Review summary

Mardi Gras is a different level of ship.for Carnival. Would definitely sail it again, but already booked on its sister ship Celebration

Embarkation was smooth, and we were on the ship less than 30 minutes after arrival.

Food and Dining

The dining room menus are always hit and miss. We dined there for three nights. Our lead server Nancy was fantastic! My wife will not eat warm food. I told Nancy, and she ensured all our meals were piping hot. Chi-Bang (Wok bowls) were good as they usually are. That's all we tried in there. Shaq’s Big Chicken was good Guy’s Burgers, we're Just okay on this cruise. I usually have at least one per day. The one I had was old and crumbly. So I avoided them for the rest of the cruise

Onboard Activities

Loft 19 was a great escape from the other 5500 guest on-board.

Entertainment

We sat outside the nightclub for a couple of nights and listened to music while having a drink. The three lady violinists were good. We were chosen for the Love & Marriage gameshow and enjoyed it. It was entertaining.

We had nothing but excellent service from our room steward Junior, and our dining room staff, led by Nancy

The Upgrade fairy called two weeks before the cruise. We were upgraded from an Ocean Suite to a Corner Excel Suite. That was the best move ever.

We checked our bags. We walked out of our excel suite at 8:00 am, and at 8:33 am, we were in our Uber on the expressway, headed to our hotel in Orlando.
