We love the Mardi Gras and look forward to sailing on her again in the near future.
Embarkation

We were zipped right through the process and it was so fast!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The main dining room was my least favorite as far as quality goes but Big Chicken and The Pig and Anchor made up for it.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We used the spa a lot. My only critique is I wish they would enforce the quietness of the thermal suite. Twice I was there to relax and people were having such loud conversations I might as well have been out on the Lido deck.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We have 5 comedians and four of them were excellent. One was just so-so. Our favorite was Billy D Washington. His shoes were fresh and new material each time we saw him.
Children's Programs
I didn’t sail with any children.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All of the crew members we encountered were hard working and always smiling. Our cabin steward, I Nyoman, was so fast and always knew our names wherever he saw us on the ship. Our waiter, Anthony, was so friendly and remembered things we didn’t like (such as cucumber on our salads) and left them off without asking a second time. His team in the dining room always called us by name and we’re very conversational.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The Mardi Gras is a beautiful ship and you could always see crew members out keeping her in top shape whether they were polishing light fixtures or cleaning deck equipment.
Cabin / Stateroom

We loved our suite! I will find it hard to downsize now after having a huge shower, more storage space and the extra side part with the couch.
Ship tip
This ship is massive! Check out the deck plans before you go and really try every food venue you can. There are SO MANY choices.
The port area they have built out is wonderful. It has all the shopping you need and plenty of fun stuff if you don’t want to do any of the off-site excursions.
