Review summary

This was my first cruise and I had an amazing time

Embarkation

Embarkation was very rushed and a bit chaotic. We arrived at 12 and it ended up going pretty quickly but I feel like it should have been more organized.

Food and Dining

Overall I think the food and drinks were really good. We went to every speciality restaurant on board, including the steakhouse twice. We only ate in the main dining room on one of the nights and it was decent. We didn’t try the buffet at all. The drinks at every bar on the ship were top notch. My favorites were the pina coladas and sangria swirl margarita on the serenity deck.

The musical shows were great - very talented singers. Family Feud was really funny to watch. We also played bingo and Deal or No Deal - both were fun. We are gamblers so we spent a lot of time in the casino as well. I must say I was impressed at how much I was able to keep playing over the course of the cruise.

Grand Turk Island

Grand Turk was by far my favorite port. The water was incredible and the weather couldn’t have been better. I bought a bucket of beer and stayed in the ocean all afternoon. One of the best days of my life, no joke!

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

This was a really nice port. We stayed at the pool all day and enjoyed the sunny weather.

Nassau, Bahamas

We had a great time in Nassau. We got a day pass to Atlantis and had an awesome day at the beach and in the pool. The day pass was pricy as was the food but it’s what can be expected on vacation
