I am now hooked on cruises. We are going at least once a year now.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
It was pretty good and no trouble at all getting on ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Plenty of options to eat at different restaurants.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
So many things to do. My only concern was the lines you had to wait in to get Bingo cards and the elevators.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Plenty of things to do every day.
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
I saw a kid forcing his parents to take him to the daycare place.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone was wonderful.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Very clean and very big.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Not too big but very comfortable. Inside rooms make it tough to know when morning starts. The best part about the room was the air conditioning. If you got too hot from the sun you could spend time in your room and totally cool off.
Ship tip
Bring a metal insulated water bottle to fill with water and drinks. I would bring 12 packs of my favorite pop next time. I would also consider booking my excursions through Carnival so if something happens you don't get left behind.
Don't need to go back to this one again. Snorkeling was not very good and the area around the port was under construction, so it might be nicer in the future. The area directly outside the port was dirty and run down.
Waterfall jumping excursion was the best but be prepared for a difficult hike. It took us a long time uphill in hot humid weather to get there but it was worth it. The island was going through a drought so we didn't get the full experience but it was still very fun.
Very confusing as to what you need to do to get off the boat. We muddled through it and got off in a decent time. The elevators do not work well when crowded, people were getting upset and dragging big bags down the stairs to get to where the needed. Might be better to disembark by floors or something, it was just very unclear what we were suppose to do.
