Review summary

Over all it was a wonderful cruise, I enjoyed spending time with my family. It seems we never get together until it's a funeral! This was a treat and I'm very thankful cruising has started back.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
we all had verifly and still had to show papers.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
the buffet was the same every day, not regular food, and it stayed closed more that it was open. we ate at chibangs and it was great! I love the atmosphere of the place. Dining room was hit and miss, the staff working was very professional and friendly.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
It was a lot to do! I enjoyed everything! we went to the serenity pool a couple of days,

Entertainment

5 out of 5
DJ cue was awesome! the stage performers deserve to be put in a main theatre for their shows they were broad way worthy.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
everyone was extremely nice to us.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
everything was clean as good as it can get considering the amount of people on the ship!

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
I love cove balconies, this room was small in comparison to the carnival dream, the balcony itself was the same size. It was the room and bathroom that was a lot smaller that usual. my side of the bed was up against the door and window of the balcony and it made it hard to get to my side of the bed. I person larger than me will have to get into the bed from the foot of it. this is a very small space.

Ship tip

Be patient and have good walking shoes, the lines for everything is long but steady moving. Its a lot of walking to do because of the size of the ship, get to the shows at center stage as early as possible to get a good seat.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
this is a new port(terminal 3), it has excalator up to check in , but only certain people were allowed to use it. It's up hill all they way!

Nassau, Bahamas

2 out of 5
really nothing to do if you don't have an excursion booked, the pier was a long walk with nothing to see but construction.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

5 out of 5
we took a bus tour which was good to get a little history about the island.

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
we just walked around and the got back on the ship, you will need to book an excursion.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
we had people in wheel chairs so they let us go on thru.

Appreciate your feedback. Glad you mostly enjoyed your cruise. The smaller cabins are not appealing to me.
