It’s a big ship, but a beautiful big ship & well designed. I would love to go back on it again in the future. Looking forward to its sister ship the Celebration.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Keeping in mind covid, we weren’t sure what to expect. It went quite smoothly. Checkin was easy - then you sat & waited like everyone else(platinum included). They had many tv monitors around that would of been nice to see your zone being called because it was very difficult to hear the announcements. They carnival employees couldn’t even hear the announcements clearly either.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We decided to do anytime dining. You had 3 restaurants listed on your sail & sign card to choose from. They encouraged you to use the carnival hub app- which we found very useful for dining menus to entertainment locations etc. Loved Shaq’s chicken, Guy’s pig bbq was awesome & had that for dinner one night. Palm dining room was very nice & James Bond was our high light. Him & his servers were outstanding.
Onboard Activities

Serenity pool very nice- many servers to take care of you. Very nice shade in that area too. Aft pool was also very nice, Shaq chicken is right there. You can have a nice breeze when ship is moving.

It is a beautiful ship- I would love to go back on it. Loved the layout of the buffet seating areas.
Cabin / Stateroom

Really loved the layout- had many USB ports, really like the night light in bathroom. The whole lighting was very nice - balcony door is a slider & much better to use than a door. Loved the shower - had a foot bar, the shower door was like a pivot .
It went smoothly as well. We waited in the theater. They had you place your luggage against the wall in the order you came in theater. Then when cleared by customs she let your row go pertaining to where your luggage was.
I agree with everything you said. We just got off the ship on the 11th. The embarkation had that huge area for diamond and platinum that we couldnt use. That was a little disappointing. We did put in our review that they needed to put the numbers they were loading on the screens. You definitely could not hear the announcements. They really need to work on that. Thanks for the review.
