You use your sign and sail card and it creates a separate casino account on it. You add to it by either charging to your room or adding cash at the machine. When you cash out at the machine it goes to the account on the card. When all done, you can see the cashier to truly cash out.

Everything is done on your sign and sail card. You put your card in and either charge to your room or put cash into the machine. This creates a casino bank associated with your card. When you "cash out" it goes to your card under the casino account. When you move to another machine, you can either pull from the account, your room or add cash again. You can then go to the cashier at the casino to truly cash out.
