Lido Marketplace on Mardi Gras

Food was only so so. Didn’t even come close to Royal Caribbean buffet on cruise we did several months ago. Meat was ok, usually dry. Food was always cold and dessert selection sucked.

Probably the worst lido buffet I’ve seen on any ship. Extremely limited choice. Ironically there is plenty of comfortable seating and of course great views. But the choice of about 2 dozen hot items and a skimpy salad bar was just not up to the standards for a ship like this. Don’t count on having this as a backup for any meal. You’ll likely end up sad.

Breakfast was good buffet at lunch not good

It was a little different for some reason. I could not quite put my finger in it. I can't ever remember going to the Lido and not being able to get something to eat. We went up a few times and there was nothing open.

Same food every other day but one day they had pot roast and mashed potatoes. They were the best I ever had ANYWHERE for that matter. Mashed potatoes were creamy and buttery but food overall was better than Royal. Cons were dessert selection, not so good and if you don't have drink package you're stuck with SUPER SWEET lemonade and unsweetend tea and water..that's it. Not any type of drinks for diabetics.

This was a very busy place, but it was easy to find seating. Food was OK. After a hot day in port, I got a salad here. Was disappointed that the salad bar didn't have any protein other than chopped walnuts. All other dishes were hot dishes. Not what I wanted to eat after a long hot day on shore.

We didn’t really eat from the buffet but my boys frequented the Schwarma station in the Lido area. I Wayan began to remember them and how they wanted their schwarma prepared. I liked the gelato station and salad bar in the same area.

Not very good. Poor choices, closes early, very warm area. A/C not capable of cooling area.
