Review summary

I prefer the smaller class ship cause the customer service seems a lot better. However, I had such an amazing time that I wasn't that bothered by it. The only other issue I could find was that for such a bigger boat, the venues seem to be about the same size as the smaller class ship, but now there are 3x the amount of people trying to get in the same place

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very fast embarkation. We never stopped moving till we got on the ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Very good food. My only issue was the sea day brunch. One of my main reason for cruising is the steak and eggs lol. No more filet mignon 😫

Fortune Teller Bar

5 out of 5

Had an amazing drink. Don't know what it was called, but so good. Blind eye, third eye, not sure

Cucina del Capitano

5 out of 5

Food was amazing. I loved the nonna's meatball and the chicken parmesan

Chibang!

5 out of 5

Good food. Try the tacos, they are an appetizer, but could be a complete meal easily

Brass Magnolia Bar

4 out of 5

They don't serve the frozen cocktails, but had a great time here. Listened to requests for Travis. He did a great job

Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que

5 out of 5

This was some good barbecue. And the sauces are very good

Palm Restaurant

4 out of 5

Very good food, but the service was very slow most nights. Not faulting them, although of people in a small area.

Emeril’s Bistro 1396

5 out of 5

Very good beignets. Had to get them a couple of times

Big Chicken by Shaq

5 out of 5

So good. Loved it for lunch and breakfast

Lido Marketplace

5 out of 5

Not the best offering, but the food was good. The cakes are amazing

BlueIguana Cantina

5 out of 5

As always, tacos and burritos ate amazing

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pools were to crowded. The ropes course looks fun, but was scary as heck lol

Beach Pool and whirlpool

2 out of 5

Pool was always too packed for my crew to enjoy

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our wait staff in the restaurants were great, and our room steward was awesome

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Very clean. However the door on the bathroom next to the casino opened automatically while I was on the toilet. Embarrassing

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very clean. A little smaller than the other interiors we have been on, but still nice.

Ship tip

I packed sweaters because the other boats I have been on were much cooler. It was very hot everywhere I went on the Mardi Gras. So my advice is don't worry about packing long sleeves unless it's winter time.

Ports of call

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

3 out of 5
Very expensive port. We were also looking forward to the water park, but it was so slam full that we didn't go in. Looked amazing tho

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Got to see the rocket go off in port canaveral. That was very cool

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
Did a little souvenir shopping, then got in the water. It was so much fun. And a pretty nice free beach

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth.

Thanks for sharing! I felt like the MG was warm all over too! I’m normally cold and never once worse a wrap/jacket.
