Review summary
7 day with stops in Nassau, Coco Cay, and Key West. Price was well worth it. Great ship if you are wanting to relax. Try a different ship if you are looking for activities and more things to do for kids.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Easy to get to the terminal. We stayed in a hotel that was a short 2 block walk. Lots of hotel options close. The previous cruise was late getting back though and got notified that morning boarding wouldn’t begin until 1:00. Took about 45 minutes to board but everybody was nice and friendly.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was decent. Had dinner every night in the dining room. Decent selection but found myself ordering from the “Classics” menu a couple of times even though I like trying different things. Our 5 year old wasn’t a fan of any of the kids meals. Sorento’s pizza was good and the deli had nice snacks.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Not a lot of activities based on the other cruises we have taken. Lots of activities were listed wrong and either didn’t take place or were in a different location or at a different time. Pools were too cold to use except for one day (no fault of the ship, just the time of year). Tried to watch the Dive In Movie twice and the sound was broken each time. Shopping giveaways were poorly planned and executed.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
The shows were just plain bad. We laughed at the comedian simply because of how bad the jokes were. Didn’t go back to any of the singing shows after the first one. The only thing keeping it from being 1 Star was the ventriloquist was amazing.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service in our room and at dinner were great. Even the people making you sanitize before dining were friendly. I can still hear the lady saying “WASHY WASHY!”
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
You can tell it is an older boat but we knew that beforehand. Nothing unexpected here.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Room was bigger than we expected after reading other reviews. Had enough room to be comfortable. Didn’t like the small porthole window and the front of the ship was bumpy and very loud. Engine noise woke us up every morning of port.
Ship tip
Good value if you are just looking for a break from reality.
Best port of call on this trip simply because it was our longest stop. 9-6:30. Got up and had a nice relaxed breakfast, got off the ship easily and did some shopping, then did a catamaran and snorkeling excursion. Enjoyed it all.
Love Key West but not enough time. 10-2:30. Went through immigration and then did some shopping and the trolley tour. Didn’t get to see all the stops before we had to get back to the ship.
Super easy and quick. We were in the last group so had time to eat and relax until time to leave. Because our last stop was Key West and we had already done immigration we didn’t need to go through Customs. Went over to the Riverwalk and had beignets and missed the crowds leaving.
