Majesty is over 25 years old and gives a great classic cruise experience. If you want a modern ship, then choose a modern ship. If you want a large ship, then choose a large ship (Majesty is only 75,000gt). As the new ships (Oasis, Quantum and Icon class) are launched, the Vision class ships are leaving the Royal Caribbean fleet. Majesty is the last of the Sovereign class launched in the early '90s and has been extensively kept up to date over the years. They have added the wayfinder screens, lcd screens in cabins, the movie screen on the pool deck, splashaway bay for kids, solarium for adults, Johnny Rockets, compass deli. That's a lot of updates they have done. But the older ships (pre Voyager ones) that are over 20 years old, are not part of the billion dollar amplification plan. They will be maintained until they are retired.

Yes I think the newer ships have a little larger cabins.
