Review summary

For a last minute fall vacation, we had an excellent time! This was our 2nd time on the Majesty of the Seas. The crew members on board did not disappoint! I would have rather stopped in somewhere besides Nassau, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. We had the best time and a much needed break from reality!

Cabin / Stateroom

We booked an Oceanview room 7532. Last year we booked a spacious ocean view and this cabin wasn't much smaller than the last. There was enough room for two people to stay in there comfortably. The bathroom was small but manageable. I didn't expect anything different from an older ship honestly. The room was exceptionally clean and our stateroom attendant kept it nice and tidy for us!

Ship tip

This is an older ship but you can't let that deter you. You get a much more personalized trip on the smaller ships than you might get on some of the bigger class ships. Yes, the ship does show it's age. It was still clean and there were no odors anywhere on the ship. I've seen others state that there were but I never smelled anything the entire week.

Blue Macaw restaurant and the Lik art gallery are a must see if you stop in at Key West!

Nassau, Bahamas

We stayed on the ship in Nassau. We've already been there just last year. So, we just relaxed on the ship while we were in port.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

The broadwalk is the place to be in Ft Lauderdale!

Did your Oceanview cabin on deck 7 have a walking path outside your window?
