Review summary

I have cruises eight times on Carnival and wanted to do something different. I was so impressed with Royal Caribbean. The service, the food, the attention to detail was all awesome. The ship was so laid back and relaxing. There were definitely things to do, but I also had plenty of time to relax and unwind. I am mid forties and I wanted to have good service and impeccable food and I got that. Carnival is definitely the fun ship and can lack in the small details that Royal Caribbean took time for. If you are going for a spring break trip or bachelorette party or something and will spend the majority of your time partying and drinking go Carnival, if you want to unwind and relax and be pampered and have memorable time go on Royal Caribbean.

Ship Quality

This is one of the smaller ship but it never felt crowded.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was your typical inside cabin with just enough room for 2 people. There isn’t however a lot of closet space so we had to improvise and fold clothing and put it above the vanity. Other than that it worked. We weren’t in there much except to sleep and change. The cleanliness however was great. Our room stewards always kept it clean neat and tidy.

Ship tip

On At Sea days, get to pool early if you want a chair in the shade.
