Review summary

Sailed with another couple who are RC loyalists. Also found this itinerary suitable for our schedule. Most likely will not sail with Royal again; it simply wasn’t our style. That being said, the service *was* wonderful although the food wasn’t always to my liking. Very glad to have had the opportunity to visit Havana.

HAVANA, CUBA

Educational via planned 6 hour excursion. Tour guide fluent in English, knowledgeable and personable. Found us a great substitute place for lunch, answered all questions neutrally and diplomatically while still being informative. Evening excursion to local cafe was fun; tourists need to be aware of the poverty in Cuba and appreciate the differences in culture.

Majesty is one of the oldest ships Royal has. We cruised her in 1992. Don’t base your entire experience on this ship. Try Oasis class ships like Harmony or Symphony. You will have a totally different cruise.
