Review summary
Day of Departure… We showed up 3 hours early and still 2-1/2 hours in a hot no air movement concrete building in line to get on board. 20 counters available to check in but only 8 were maned. (open). Could have gotten there 20 minutes before departure and wouldn’t have to been waiting at all. Didn't like the disorganization...one example was.. booked our group of 10 (5 Rooms) all at the same time together. Yet we were all scheduled for dinner at different times in different dining rooms. They made it a big deal, very troublesome and uncomfortable in correcting this so we could have dinner together as planned. We were very polite with our request yet they made us feel like we were the problem. Took an excursion to Royal Caribbean's private Island. They said it included your meal plan. There was total disorganization in the lines to get your food. no one directing people. One line had a 30-minute-long wait, while no one knew there was a other line on the other side with only a few people in it. After all that wait your choice of food was hot dogs and hamburgers, rice, tinny pieces of fish. Really, we are in the Caribbean and get Hot dogs and hamburgers as a choice of meats??? To make it worse.. they couldn't keep up with the demand. Sometimes you waited in front of an item for up to 10 minutes while waiting for them to refill the serving pans. than to only get Cold Food! Then there are the tables, where you sit and eat, surrounded by garbage cans to throw out you dinning items. Think about it... its 84 degrees and your sitting surrounded by garbage cans... nothing but flies ! No one was comfortable eating while waving the flies away as they landed on your food. Didn't like that the last night of the cruise that many bars and restaurants closed early or limited service. The Cruise was till 7:00 am return to port yet by 9:00 pm the night before many locations on the ship closed or the common items were not available any more. (certain wines they didn't have open they wouldn't open, took apart the frozen drink machines so that wasn't available. many other things changed). I Guess what I’m saying is that the Last 10 hours of the cruise, was not the cruise experience. it was just a boat ride. Wondering if it was just this ship or the Cruise Line. May not want to find out…..Embarkation
