Review summary

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this adventure!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was a wonderful experience. Sitting up on the top deck as the ship pulled away, wind in our hair and sun on our skin. Like no other experience.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was wonderful and there was such a variety. You could eat anytime of the day or night! The Starlight dining was the best! Our wait staff was so very welcoming and kind! Totally recommend at least for every dinner.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
the pool was good when we were at the dock and most people had gotten off the ship but otherwise it was so full there was no room! Hot tubs were great, there was 4 of them.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Comedian Dan Gabriel was awesome! He had two shows one PG and then one adults only. They were both great! The dance staff was great as well.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Rommel and Greg stand out the most to me, they were our waiters in the dining area, and Greg also works in the windjammer. They reserved our table for us even when we hadn't remembered to do it. We just showed up and Rommel was like "I knew you would be back!" Thankful for him. THey taught us all the Macarana (SP) after dinner, we had a blast.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
the ship was very clean but the elevators were hard to get on, except early in the morning and late at night. If one had bad knees they wouldn't be able to navigate. To get a drink you had to go all the way to the 11-12 floor and our rooms where on the 3rd floor. No Ice machines on the different levels.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was excellent, they seperated the beds so we each had one and it was enough room for the both of us. THe only issue we had was that the shower over flowed the second day, so be careful not to have anything in the bathroom floor except a towel!!!

Ship tip

Pack light, nice outfits for dinner, but mostly swim suits and covers. Definitely get the drinking package (delux) so that not only your alcohol but your soda and coffee are included! Coffee shop on 6th floor is wonderful!

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Totally recommend the FishLips Restaurant! Good food and entertainment.

Nassau, Bahamas

2 out of 5
We did not do an excursion, but when we got off the ship we were bombarded with men wanting us to go with them to the different things, it was a little overwhelming, like being at a carnival! THe little ships where neat but we got back on the ship. Our friends went on down to the beach for a few hours and said they were approached multiple times by people wanting to sell them drugs!! Not a cool place and to me made the "Bahamas" experience not something i would pay to go back too. I wouldn't mind seeing other islands though.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
Now this island was great! As soon as we got off the Tender there was a big iguana to greet us, it was layed back and there was plenty of chairs (needed more shade) the water was awesome! I took my owe goggles and was able to swim out and see the beauty without being in a "tour".

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We did the self service disembarkation. Had no issues, had our stuff packed and ready to go, just have to remember if your not early to get the the 4th floor to get off you will be waiting for an elevator or carrying you luggage up or down the stairs (pack light)!

I took my first cruise on Majesty too, glad you loved it! I think it's a great small ship to wet your feet in the cruising world :)
