Review summary

From start to finish we had a great time. Our teenage daughters also had a great time. It was their first cruise and my 3 cruise. No problems whatsoever. We were able to relax and enjoy.

Embarking was great, the lines flowed smoothly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate breakfast and lunch in Windjammer and dinners in main dining room. Windjammer was good with many food varieties, no lines and food was always fresh and hot. Others have commented on the lines in Windjammer but we did not find that to be a problem at all. It all depends probably on the time you go. Main dining room was excellent. Head waiter and Raymond and assistant Beslee were amazing. We got whatever we asked for and more.

Main Dining Room

5 out of 5

Great service and great food

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Watched Battle of the Sexes game. It was funny. Went to the casino but did not stay long due to the smell of smoke. Even the non smoking section of the casino was very smoky.

Casino Royale

2 out of 5

Too smoky and many of the slots did not work.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Raymond, Beslee and Oscar were the best.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was clean and well kept. After reading others reviews of their dissatisfaction I was left wondering what part of the ship they were on because I found everything to be in good shape. It is an older ship but well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
No problems. We had enough room for all of our clothes and belongings. So quiet too. We could not hear anything going on outside or in the adjoining room.

Ship tip

Relax. Have fun. Be open to trying new things.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
We did not do much here as we were not in the market for jewelry or hair braids. We did visit Senor Frogs and had a couple of drinks as well as the conch fritters. People watched and enjoyed the clear blue waters. We walked down to Junkanoo beach which was crowded but not overwhelming.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
This was the best part of the trip. We saw a baby sting ray floating around and many other little fish. Enjoyed the food and drinks and just pure relaxation. Plenty of chairs, umbrellas and food for everyone. It was a really nice stop.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Great. No problems. We self disembarked. Got in line at 7:15. We were a little late coming into port because we left Coco Cay an hour late due to the captain allowed us one more hour on Coco Cay. We got out and to our awaiting bus within an hour.
