It was my first cruise and I overall would give it 4 stars. I wouldn't come back to this on just because it is so small and I would like a different itinerary.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
It was great. We had a mishap and your guest advocates were awesome.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was great, except for the steak which obviously never touched a grill. It had the consistency of spam.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Everything was great except for our day at sea. Since we had a canceled port of call everyone was confused as to what was happening. Trivia was scheduled but none of the crew knew about it so it didn't happen, activities kept getting moved with little notice and again no one knew anything. There wasn't enough to do so everyone flocked to the pool area so no space in such a small boat. Other than the day at sea it was great.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
5 stars to the Latin band, comedian, and Filipino band. The DJ was absolutely horrendous. I can't tell you how many times I had to listen to Can't Stop The Feeling by Justin Timberlake. I was so disappointed when they said the DJ was going to play in Boleros instead of the Latin band.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The Starlight and Moonlight, especially Arnel, staff were amazing. If I could be guaranteed the same people I'd come back to this ship. My room attendant, Roland, was also amazing.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Very clean but obviously dated. You can tell the staff is doing what they can with what they have.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
We spent most of our time out of the cabin so it was perfect for us. We had 2 pieces of luggage, 2 backpacks, 1 small gym/duffle bag and they didn't get in the way. We were 2 women so lots of make up and toiletries but we had enough space. The shower was on the small size but it did the job. I have to Take one star because the beds were horrible. My back and neck ached the whole time.
Ship tip
It's great as a first time cruise, to lounge about, or if you're looking to party. I liked it enough that I want to go on another cruise. I would get a cabin on 7 just because if you're inside you can walk down the hall to the jogging track for some air.
We loved Nassau. People will ask you to buy this and that but you say no thank you and continue on. Obviously with any city or foreign place you take precautions. We walked for hours and had no issue. Everyone was friendly and we even had someone walk us to the Fish Fry for food. Can't wait to go again.
