Majesty of the Sea - Great for 1st time cruisers or those that want to relax and be pampered, Truly offers a personal touch. Give it a try and you'll be hooked.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
The process of embarkation was smooth and lacked difficulty. Staff was quite helpful and made a 1st time cruisers experience a piece of cake.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Though the Majesty is an older member of the fleet and quite small compared to newer ships the food rivaled any dining experience I previously have enjoyed. The buffets offered lots of variety and the formal dining room is a must. The waiters go out of their way to make each guests experience pleasurable. The food choices are second to none.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The shows were great and seating was always found no matter how soon or late guests arrived. The bartenders went out of the way to meet drink needs. The shops offered variety. The casino had plenty of choices. The only negative was the pool on board was quite small and usually crowded.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Stage shows, comedy acts, karaoke, live game show style opportunities made evenings quite enjoyable.
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
Though I had no children with, many were on the ship but seldom seen so there must of been sufficient opportunities to busy them. On board movie on pool deck was quite entertaining for young and old.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
EXCELLENT !!! This is what really set this cruise apart from others. Each and every member made you feel important.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Easy to get around and well kept for an older ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Plenty of room. Only negative is the air conditioning on the 9 floor was not the greatest if you like your room really cool.
Ship tip
For those who have been on newer bigger ships this might disappoint but for new cruisers and those that want to feel like a pampered guest this is the ship for you.
City is run down and seemed quite poor. I recommend you catch a boat to Paradise Island or book an excursion to busy yourself. Atlantis is cool but crowded and over priced.
