Review summary

What made this cruise 5 stars was the day we spent at Coco Cay. The improvements made recently on the island have drastically improved the quality of time spent there. The weather, of course, was beautiful, but it isn't always. Thank you Father God for PERFECT weather for the day! We walked past the first grouping of chairs, then the second, and around the bend, and found the "swim-up" bar. It's quite small, but accommodates a bartender and just enough refreshment to supply the cruisers in the water and on the nearby beach. Hot Dogs and Watermelon, water and iced tea were nearby on the beach. Don't miss a chance to getaway to this beach!

A bit smaller than we've had before, but adequate for two. Clean and reasonably quiet. No consistent noise, although we did hear an occasional clunk from operations. Enough storage space if you don't overpack. If you have beds together, one side is against the wall - no room for bedside tables. But there is a large space at the window that will hold quite a few personal items.

If you have time pre- or post-cruise, visit the new Visitor's Center that gives history of the area.

My favorite place in the world! Don't stop at the first grouping of chairs - keep walking! There's so much more to see!

Nassau, Bahamas

Go visit the new Baha Mar hotel, grounds, and casino. Fabulous!

Yes mostly. The real pineapple is $12, but if you have the drink 🍹 pkg you get free refills all day.

Does your drink package from the ship apply to drinks on Cococay?

Grepet7849 Coffee, tea, ice tea, water, juice and flavored water are all available in the windjammer at no extra cost. Main dining room, water, coffee and tea are no extra cost.

You can buy non alcoolic beverages package for mock drinks. You can get fruit daikiries, mojito, miami vice, pina colada with no alcool. It's great.

What about drink packages on the ship? Is it necessary to buy one? We are not looking to drink alcoholic beverages since this is a family vacation with our kids, but are drinks not included in the price we paid with our meals?
