Review summary
This was my wife's first cruise and we do not plan to travel with Royal Caribbean again! The first night we were tired and laid down in our cabin around 6pm and over slept, so we missed our dining room assignment, which was fine. The following night we went to dinner, at our assigned time, sat at our assigned table that we were escorted to by the Maitre'd. Once seated, a group of people came to the table and started to state that we were at their table. The maitre'd then came to our table and asked to see OUR seapass card, after he saw it when we walked in and asked where were we seated. He never once asked the group for their seapass or validate where they were supposed to sit. He then proceeded to ask us to move to different table to accomodate that group. The table was located all the way in the back in a dark corner. We said "No" we will sit where we were assigned. Five minutes later he returned with another waiter and asked to see our seapass once again. At this time we were feeling very uncomfortable. By the time our food arrived, the maitre'd once again came and asked for our seapass!! Three times....really?!!! Now it feels like harassment. At no time was anyone else asked for their seapass or asked to move to accomodate someone else. The table behind us sat 8 people and was empty all night. He could have sat the party there, but kept harassing us to move instead. When we completed our meal, as we were getting up from the table, the waiter asked to seapass once again. I have never been harassed this much before in my life!!! And we take offense because we are both Veterans of the United States Army and my husband is a law enforcement officer. Becasue of this we will not sail Royal Caribbean again!!!
