Review summary

Had a GREAT time with my gal pals!  We loved the food, drinks, on board activities, and ports but the ship is OLD, dirty, and stinky.  Time to retire it!  We kept smelling feces in the stateroom hallways...not sure if there was sulfur in the toilet water, but it stunk.  Loved the onboard activities but PLEASE change the rules and DO NOT allow smoking in the casino...YUCK!!

Had a blast in Nassau at the Pearl Island excursion.  Had a good time in CocoCay except when our kayak excursion turned into a nightmare.  There was no beginner/intermediate/advanced options and it turned out being more intermediate to advance.  They wanted us to kayak what seemed to be 1-2 miles and then back.  The tide was going out and it was exhausting.  At one point, another boat bumped into us, tipping my friend and I into the water.  The two guides we at least 100 yards away from us and we had to struggle to stay with the kayak until they arrived.  Then after we used EVERY OUNCE of our energy to pull ourselves back into the boat, they wanted to keep going!! Um...NO.  My friend and I paddled back to the beach and went for drinks.

All in all, it was a good trip because the four girls on the trip had fun, but the ship is gross and the staff was not that helpful in making it a 100% success.

Small, looked shabby but was as clean as good be in regards to housekeeping.

Ship tip

Try to do as many activities as possible. Enjoy the evening dinner service, it's great! If you want to gamble, be prepared to inhale smoke. YUCK.

Make sure to have a coverup, hat, and sun block! There are shade options but you get a lot of sun. SO FUN!!!

We found the ship to be very clean, you always saw staff around cleaning the common areas. No notice of any unpleasant odors on our trip at the end of Jan. Great ship, food and wonderful staff.

I'm wondering the same ginnayc87, along with the sewage smells. Hoping I didn't make the wrong choice with this cruise.

i read about the kayak excursion first so that we would have an idea an it says it's a lot of physical activity , smoking in the casino will never change yes i understand that sucks for non smokers , i wish someone would take some pics of how dirty the boat is because i see a lot of posts saying it is an isn't , did they do the belly flop contest on your cruise ?
