Review summary
Just returned from our four night Majesty of Seas cruise. Took my husband, two daughters ages 22 and 20, and sons ages 17 and 13. There was enough variety of activities both on and off the ship to appease the likes of all of us. While my daughters and I preferred to sunbathe on the swimming deck, my husband and sons preferred shuffleboard, basketball, and ping pong. We especially enjoyed eating in the dining room for our early seating. We chose not to participate in the formal night. The other evenings were all casual so even khaki shorts were acceptable for the guys while the girls enjoyed casual dresses. We were very impressed with the variety and quality of foods in the Windjammer Cafe for breakfast and lunch.
In Nassau, the girls went shopping and the boys walked to a beach (15-20 minute walk from the port) during the morning. We did the Sail and Snorkel Catamaran Cruise in the afternoon. We absolutely loved the snorkeling with beautiful marine life and coral reefs. The rum punch was very tasty after the snorkeling:)
Our favorite port-of-call was Coco Cay. We especially enjoyed the Stingray excursion. We were all able to hold a stingray and have our picture taken with it. We also did a little snorkeling although it was not as colorful as the other excursion with shallower waters. We enjoyed sunbathing, swimming, and playing in the sand...a truly relaxing and fun beach day!
We had been scheduled for the jet ski tour of Key West however it was a bit cool and windy so we were able to cancel and get reimbursed for this excursion. Instead we opted to do the trolley tour which is a nice way to get an overall view and history of the island.
The entertainment on the ship was ok but not exceptional...the costumes seemed a bit dated and the music was not my favorite choices...70s. The juggler's juggling skills and tricks were exceptional but his stage skills were fair. The stateroom was small (as expected) but adequate for our needs. Fortunately we did not spend much time in there. My only complaint was there were only two electrical outlets in the entire cabin and the upper outlet did not hold the plugs. All of our kids agreed this was our best vacation ever and we will not hesitate to book with Royal Caribbean via again!

Ship tip
We were glad that we purchased our excursions ahead of time. We did purchase the Coco Cay Stingray Excursion on ship right as we entered the ship when the lines were short. Otherwise the lines always seemed to be long. We chose to carry our luggage off ship the morning of departure...shorter wait.
