Review summary

I'm happy to say that I'm glad that this wasn't our first cruise with RCCL. The food and dining service were sub-par. Previous cruises with this cruise line have shown us that this must have been a "one-off" event and will not sway us from cruising with them again. Fortunately for us, our party was large enough that we were entertaining or self entertained not to have noticed the missing attentiveness that we had grown accustomed to on our previous voyages. On the plus side, our cabin attendant (Pram) was outstanding and extremely attentive to us and our every need. Overall, I found the itinerary perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway.

Food presentation and quality really not up to par. Eggplant parm dish was gray mass that was inedible, lobster bisque was questionable tomato soup?

Pram, our cabin attendant was outstanding. Dining staff never offered any condiments, i.e. sour cream, butter, steak sauce; and had to request coffee with every dessert.

Had we known that there was a deck right outside of our cabin, we would not have paid for an oceanview - had to keep curtains closed most of the time due to foot traffic. I knew it would be partially obstructed, but I didn't expect that.
