Review summary

Having always wanted to go on a cruise, but never been, we decided on a 4 night to the Bahamas.  It was a great length to start and we really enjoyed it.  The ship is amazing and it's like a little town on the water.  Everything was neat and clean, the food was delicious and the stateroom junior suite was roomier than we anticipated.  A balcony is a must!  We were actually surprised the water pressure in the shower was so good.  All the staff is very friendly and will help you in any way possible.  Many of them are foreign, so it's very hard to understand most of them.  The game shows were amazing and we really had a blast.  Got to know some real nice people too.  Did not care for Nassau, though, but CocoCay was awesome!  Royal Caribbean has the best reputation, I believe, for ships and people not getting sick, etc. so that's why we chose them.  It was a great experience and we decided to do a 7 night cruise next year!

Larger than we anticipated

Ship tip

If you like fresh brewed tea, bring your own tea bags, as theirs is not fresh brewed. Also, no peanut butter on the ship, so if you want it, you need to bring your own.

It was raining, so we didn't do much, other than walk across the street from our hotel for lunch

Nassau, Bahamas

Not great, but ok. It was dirty and the locals selling their goods HOUND you when you get off the ship. Luckily we did a walking food tour which was good, different and interesting

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

OMG, it was amazing. We rented a cabana which was well worth the money and would do it again in a heartbeat. Best part of the ports!

Had it been a nice day out, it would have been great, but it was raining which just made it ok. Did a tour, which was nice and met friends for lunch, which also was great. Nice town. Would like to see it again when the weather is nice.
