Review summary

I had a great time on the Majesty. The stateroom was clean and comfortable. I purchased a guaranteed oceanview stateroom and I received a room on Deck 8, which was an obstructed view. The view is obstructed due to lifeboats hanging from deck 9. However, the view was not bad and you could still see the ocean. It was better than being on the 7th level where view was not obstructed but level 7 was an open deck so people could walk right past your window. Atleast, on deck 8 there was no walking deck for people to hang out right outside your room. I was in room 8500, the end of the hall, which was even better because only the left side of the view was obstructed, The other side was wide open. The food was decent and there was plenty of it. Don't purchase a drink package because there is a cheap liquor store on the boat and you can mix your own drinks. Free soda, lemonade, tea, and juices available throughout the day on Deck 11 and 12. Dont spend more on non alcoholic drink packages either because it is all available for FREE once you get on board. Hope this helps.

Ship tip

Don't buy the drink packages. There is a cheap duty free liquor store on board and you can keep the liquor you buy from them to drink on the ship. There is plenty of water, soda, lemonade, tea, coffee, and juices that are FREE and offered 24/7. Don't spend extra money on drinks or water.

Your obligated to tip the person who takes your luggage from the cab/shuttle to the ship. Not sure why.

Take a $4 cab to Cabbage Beach. The closest public beach to Atlantis (right next door).

Thanks for the review. I'm surprised to hear that they were offering free soda on the ship, as that usually carries an extra charge on Royal Caribbean.
