Review summary
Overall, the staff was very friendly and used your first name in almost all interactions. Service in the dining room during the main dinner seating at 6:30pm is quite slow since that is when the majority of guests have scheduled their dinner time. One night, we re-scheduled our dinner time to the later time and the service was much quicker. The food was not as exquisite and tasty as I'd expect. The maitre'd from the 9pm dinner time noticed that we did not enjoy our meal so much and offered to have a special dish made for us for dinner the next night. He was the only staff member, who went above and beyond to turn our cruise experience around! Otherwise, the rest of the staff were just satisfactory. Also, the food for breakfast at the buffet needs improvement as well. The selection, taste and quality was decent. The entertainment was great. Our cruise director was hilarious! He definitely kept us entertained and made the times at sea worthwhile. Staterooms are tiny, as expected, so don't pack too much! Our stateroom attendant was great, too. He made sure we had everything we needed in our room without even asking.Ship experiences
