My wife and I were on the Majesty of the Seas - Eastern Caribbean cruise for our Honeymoon. We loved the wide variety of places to eat, but mostly we found ourselves drawn back to the dining hall in the evening. The service and food there was amazing. There was plenty of activities for us, though we quite often enjoyed the private comfort of our stateroom. This was our first cruise, and we were so impressed with it, we're already making plans to take another cruise next year for our anniversary.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Fantastic, changing menu. I'm a foodie, so cuisine was very important. Our main dining experience was great. Entrees and Appetizers was definitely their strong suits. Dessert was good, I just wasn't blown away by it, like I was the other courses.
Entertainment

The shows were good, the Karaoke was HYSTERICAL, and the Live bands everywhere were HOT. The Casino however is very smelly so we spent no time in there (LOTS of Cigar smoke) and please don't bother with Peter's shopping show unless you are really into super cheesy home shopping. We went to the show, then we went shopping at the recommended places in Nassau, and pretty much wasted our time. The free stuff - while hyped up in the show - turned out to be useless junk. And the "sales" and "deals" are only decent if you're one of those people who buys everything at full retail price from department stores in malls.
Service and Staff

Every staff we encountered went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They were extraordinarily friendly and remarkably diverse. Our waiter was from India and our Assistant Waiter was from Serbia. Two great guys who were fantastic servers. Our stateroom Attendant was incredible. She was very thorough in cleaning our room. One night when we turned our room's temperature down pretty low to ease our sunburns, my wedding ring slipped off in the night and fell behind our bed. Of course the next day we were upset and overturned just about everything to find it, with out any luck. While we were out that morning shopping in Nassau she found it and placed it on the vanity where we would find it. We then found out it was found behind and the underneath the bed against the wall! It is an amazing feeling to always walk back into an immaculately clean room, no matter what sorry state you left it in.
Ship Quality

Good sized, Very seldom did we ever feel crowded. I was impressed by the cleaning staff. I remember seeing one cleaning attendant staring intently at the glass to remove smudges from the staircase, much like I often have the obsession with. I was glad that as a bit of a neat freak, the cleaning crew here took the same measure of detail.
Cabin / Stateroom

We loved our Oceanview balcony on the Promenade level (deck 7). The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of storage for our things. The only negative comment we have is the shower. It was too tiny for my wife to shave her legs, and you never knew what temperatures were going to come out of the shower head - often uncomfortably hot, even when it seemed like only cold water was supposed to come out.
We loved the snorkeling excursion. So much fun, and the crew who took us were a blast. Would definitely do it again. Annoying part: the gauntlet of street vendors harassing us while we were trying to get to the Katamaran that took us snorkeling. We wished that we hadn't wasted our time with gimmicky shopping and took one of the historical tours or day-cruises.
We went Jet Skiing for the first time. Our instructors were great, the skiis themselves were surprisingly in fantastic condition, and the seas were beautiful. We also spent some time just soaking up some rays, and enjoying our Coco-Loco's (drink of the day).
We rented an electric car to move about the town - best decision ever, since we at our own leisure could sightsee at our own leisure. Had a wonderful time, did some real shopping. Visited quite a few contemporary art galleries - loved it!
