Review summary

The Majesty of the Seas was a beautiful ship, well kept with a very friendly staff. The Windjammer dining had a variety of foods, was quick and had ample seating for the days we wanted to grab a quick bite and disembark the ship. We especially liked the option to carry our own luggage and be the first ones off the ship. As we had a long drive ahead of us that day, it really made a difference!

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a small incident with the shower drain not working properly; but one mention of it to our room steward and the problem was handled before we next returned to our room.

Ports of call

Key West, Florida

5 out of 5
The best advise I can give for this port is to be prepared for the heat if you go during the summer. Although it was warm on the water, the breeze made it pleasant; but walking the streets was tough. Fortunately there are lots of little shops with air conditioning you can duck into for a few minutes.
Don't Miss: The view and the breeze from the top of the lighthouse were both wonderful.

Nassau, Bahamas

We snorkeled off a coral reef and it was wonderful to see in person the colors of the fish you only get to see in books or on TV.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
What a day! The island has the best of everything from thrilling activities to the island barbecue to the hammocks in the trees!
Don't Miss: The jet skies were amazing. Both safety and fun were stressed during this adventure.

Pros: The best day was at Cococay!

Cons: For a chocolate addict, the chocolate buffet was a dissappointment.
